This is a work in progress, I will be working on this most of the winter. It will import the weekly Winspeed Merge file and you will be able to view the race reports and standings as the season progresses. Bear with me as it will take some time to get the whole thing up and running. If you have any constructive suggestions as I go along Email them to me. Be aware that some things will not work properly in the beginning and some of the links are just placeholders which I will change as I progress. Most of this required data will be imported from Winspped Merge files and need not be typed in by hand. The Admin Menu will be unprotected to start with and later I will password protect it so only the race secretary will be able to make changes or import data files.

2007-November-20 - I am working on the points system. I have it set to take your birds speed divided by the winning speed which creates a speed_factor. I take

10% of your distance and create a distance_factor.

10% of the lofts shipping and create a loft_factor

10% of the birds shipped and create a bird_factor

Then my formula looks like this: (distance _factor + loft_factor + bird_factor) * speed_factor

All birds that clocked will get points. At the end of the season you can query the bird from the Birds link on the main menu to view it's flying record. It will make more sense once we get a few more races loaded. I may have to adjust the different factors. I need to see how the points are going to look. Or if any of you have a suggestion speak up.
