Spring Bar-B Que
CORP had it's first Bar-B-Que for the 2004 season, April 4th, and my-o-my what a beautiful day. Bright, sunny, and mid 70 degree temperatures. You couldn't have asked for a better day. Don and Sandy Chapin hosted our first spring Bar-B-Que and Don cooked up Pork Ribs that were just super. After everyone had their fill our Guest Speaker Frank McLaughlin from McLaughlin Lofts, Mass. gave a presentation. Frank was very interesting to listen to. He presented some information that had many of our club members thinking. He did a super job and was very appreciated by CORP members. Many thanks Frank.
Our First Bar-B-Que ended with our first club YB Auction for our Club Auction Race Series. Bob Brumagin was auctioneer. We had guests Gary and Rosanna Dunmire from Eugene, OR. They also brought two birds for our club auction.
All in all everyone had a great time and left with full stomach's complements of Don. We're already looking forward to our next CORP Bar-B-Que.
