Surrounding several of our members is the Crooked River Gorge and the Deschutes River Gorge, in some places as deep as 800 feet and featuring some of the best salmon fishing and white water rafting in America.  And not to forget "Smith Rock", world renowned for rock climbing.

The Central Oregon Racing Pigeon Club is a very active, progressive club.  Where all the members enjoy not only the competitiveness of the sport but the social aspect of a fun loving club.   We have several fun functions.  Lunch together every Tuesday and Fridays.  Prime Rib dinner every Friday night after basketing, and several "Pot-Lucks" durning the summer.     Lightning over Plateau

But of course our main focus is Pigeon Racing.   Most of our members live North to South from Madras to Bend along the Hwy 97 corridor, with a few members around Prineville. So our club has a wide front, but very close surveys.   We fly from the South East as far as Snowville, Idaho.   So this makes for a very fair course.  CORP is a very progressive club, having used GPS surveys for several years now, experimenting over the years with release points to ensure the best races with the largest returns possible.  CORP is a hard working club where everyone shares the work load.  And everyone enjoys working together.
